This was a self directed project; as a way of creating a record of the current religious statistics within the UK. 1% accounts for one whole page allocated to each religious text; each text pays homage to its earliest, original printed version in almost all aspects.
To create the hybrid bible; I sourced the relevant versions of each scripture online and copied and pasted, typeset, translated, edited all of them until I had the correct amount of content for each page. I found appropriate typefaces to represent the time period and or location of each, using for instance Fette Fraktur for the Gutenberg bible which was relevant to both criteria.
I sourced the page dimensions for each book and scaled them to fit within the frame of an A5 page so as to maintain consistency throughout the design whilst staying true to the detail of each individual publication.
