Spooked Ireland
We wanted this to feel high end in comparison to your average paranormal show, so we opted for a classic movie poster layout, emphasising Vogue Williams as the main talent and draw for the series.
Written in the Stars
We wanted to find a unique and interesting way to incorporate the whole cast, host and themes within the Key Visual that would work comfortably across all digital specs without losing the overall impact.
By laying out the art in this way, around a central point, rather than a standard landscape group shot, we were able to successfully use this one piece across all platform and partnerships assets, without having to edit or reduce the number of talent for smaller ratios.
Johhny VS Amber
Another iteration we concepted and delivered for the UK team was this B&W 'opposites' version.
This worked really well to highlight the contrasting sides without showing bias. Each side has light and dark elements, as well as shades of grey.
Johhny VS Amber
We had the challenge of coming up with a version of Key Art for this documentary that did not feature Johnny or Amber's faces.
As a way around this, we illustrated an image of their hands, recognisable by the inclusion of some of Depp's tattoos. We created an editorial style paper texture, as a nod to the themes within the trial.
90 Day Fiancé - Breakup Campaign
90 Day Fiancé was moving from TLC over to Discovery+
In the spirit of the show itself we created a breakup campaign between the channel and the show, literally shredding the title and previous key art in a TLC branded environment.
Ted Bundy: A Faking It Special
We presented four concepts for this Key art, each exploring the idea of distortion and visually representing the two contrasting sides of Bundy's personality.
The final visual has a digital glitch/television overlay which links to the overarching KA for the Faking It series, and leans nicely into the case itself which was famously televised.
Helicopter ER
We wanted the key art to feel modern and dramatic, visually capturing and representing the rescue work of the Yorkshire Air Ambulance, as they attend to patients in life or death situations.
We chose a saturated grade to ensure the show would stand out on the product.
Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives
Working closely alongside the promo created for this title, we utilised a similar diner style environment and subtly amped up the neon tones within the TT to mirror the caption graphics.
This ticket holder mockup allowed us to showcase multiple food images alongside the talent within the key art.
Unexplained: Caught on Camera
Previous artwork had exhausted the glitchy, VHS overlay aesthetic synonymous with the theme of this show.
For this series, we flipped the perspective to highlight the person capturing the event as opposed to the event itself. This worked really well to create a fresh visual and actually helped to provide further mystery for that which you can't see.
The Murder of Gabby Petito
This documentary tells the story of Gabby Petito, whose body was found near a national park in Wyoming.
We overlaid an image of the tragically beautiful location onto the victim, applying a film burn effect to create a dreamlike quality, setting the scene for the show.
Salvage Hunters: The Restorers
Rather than choosing a single expert to represent the series, we wanted to utilise the various production shots to literally frame and hero the restoration process as art.
